NON-EXTRACTION TREATMENTS:
Slenderising of teeth and expansion techniques are used to reduce the need for extractions.

APPOINTMENTS:
Priority is given for early morning and late afternoon appointments. Out of school appointments are guaranteed if required.

Following an assessment and detailed examination , a written quote is given to confirm the treatment aims, the length of the treatment and the cost.

PRIVATE CHARGES:
Initial examination and consultation, to include models of the teeth and all necessary x-rays,and a second consultation if required. - £80

Treatment is normally then charged on an appointment basis. The written quote will state the maximum number of appointments required. If more appointments are required , there are no further charges. If fewer appointments are required, then the treatment is charged on a pro-rata basis.

Removable brace appointment is charged at £90 on the day of fitting and then £60 per appointment

Treatment with fixed braces is charged at £440 per arch and thereafter at £95 per appointment.

Lingual Braces are charged at £1320 per arch to fit and thereafter at £285 per appointment.

INVISALIGN is charged as follows:

At the first appointment there is a charge of £80 for the initial consultation to assess suitability. Photographs, x-rays and models are taken. The photographs are then sent to Invisalign in the United States and subject to Invisalign confirming that the treatment can be carried out using this technique; a detailed written quote is given.

Invisalign is charged at £2000 for up to 10 sets of aligners i.e. £200 per set of aligners. This covers up to 2mms of crowding or spacing or correcting midlines which take around 5 months of treatment. Subsequent sets of aligners are charged at £120 per set of aligners.

CLEARSTEP is charged as follows. Mild treatment which would take up to 8 months to align the teeth is charged at £720 per arch. Moderate treatment which would take up to 16 months is charged at £1180 per arch. Severe treatment which would take more than 8 months is charged at £2100 per arch.

Payments can be made by cheque, credit or debit cards. We accept Visa, Switch, Solo, Mastercard.

THE FEES INCLUDE:

  • All radiographs , plaster models and photographs required during treatment.
  • All necessary appliances and retainers, whether fixed or removable.
  • Instructions in appliance care, oral hygiene and dietary care.
  • All adjustments to the appliances and professional care.
  • Supervision of retention for a year after completion of active treatment to ensure the teeth stay in their corrected positions.
  • Any unforeseen additional visits should the need arise.
  • The repair of broken and damaged appliances.
  • Laboratory costs.

THE FEES DO NOT INCLUDE:

  • Any related work carried out by your dentist.
  • Supervision beyond one year of retention. The total duration of retention and follow up supervision cannot be predicted but review appointments at this stage are infrequent.A visit by visit fee will be charged , currently £15.
  • The replacement of lost or severely damaged appliances.
  • The time wasted by appointments missed without prior cancellation.
  • Gumshields.
